A Nutbar Without Question But A Great Chess Player Nonetheless

I thought this NYT article put it well. Everything Fischer did was controversial, but we can say one thing of him: he put Iceland on the map.

    Thanks for bringing the Fisher story to my attention. He and Ali were the two titans as a kid. I think that a computer programed with all of Fisher and Kasparov's games with a view to playing using endeless permutations "in character" could be interesting.

    How was Miami? Bet with today's cold, you'd rather be there.
